I'm about at the halfway point in this and finally about ready to start putting it back together piece by piece. I got my fork tubes back in from Jamie at DMrPerformance Suspension and can't ...

Re: Say hello to my little friend.

Another update and first the bad news. Upon removing the exhaust from the bike I also proceeded to remove the studs since I have new studs for this build. First three were easy to remove and then there's always that bad apple to ruin things. So I've sprayed it multiple times with PBBlaster and when ...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

Nola Motorsports requires full leathers for track days and I plan on getting some more training on track for preparing my steed on the track. The best mod for the bike is the rider and I want to be ready. It's a dream come true after 25 years of dreaming of the day I'd be on a legit race ...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

That sounds like something like I would do Mac. :p Glad it was nothing serious to say the least. Well it's not something I did directly on the bike but it's something I did for the bike so I can enjoy that occasional track day when I've got her finished. :biggrin 62BDDCF7-E74E-4DEA-8...

Re: Say hello to my little friend.

Thanks guys and I never noticed this on the exhaust setup so I'll have to revert it as it should be. I bought the bike this way so that goes to the previous owner then.  Exhaust is being removed anyway as I've got all new hardware for it on the way for restoration purposes and I also pla...

Re: Say hello to my little friend.

I almost forgot about the progress on the can hangers I modified. They're looking great and getting closer to completion. Should look mint when done and still have that OEM look and feel. Re: Say hello to my little friend.

Been a while since I updated and making progress slowly but surely. First thing I upgraded was me. :eh: Yup I finally got to go to the riding school for some basic riding course to brush up on some skills after 25 years of not riding. It wasn't easy and I learned a lot as I also got some of ...

Re: Oxford OX621 sequential LED indicators

When you say adapters do you mean to fit them to the bike ? If so no but the fronts will just be in a big hole in the fairing, nowt you can do about that really. Or do you mean a different flasher relay ? If so then probably yes as with the standard relay the will more than likley flash too fast. N...

Re: Earthing on reg/rec

You can run an additional cable which is easier to route than one big fat one. The only one where that's difficult to do is the main starter relay to motor cable, but all the others can be beefed up with a secondary cable in addition to the existing one. This is good logic for sure. I'd propose a g...
