I put on Zeigler braided lines, front, rear, and clutch, with EBC HH pads. It made a HUGE difference!!!! First time I grabbed the front at highway speed I grabbed it like I would have with the old pads and hoses and I damn near stoppied!!!!! Try these mods first. You will love them. Also, change ...

Not sure what you mean by a different profile. The rake is determined by the angle of the steering head which is, of course, welded into the frame. Seems to me that changing that independent of a bias change (ride height front to rear) would be pretty major surgery. Personally, I would probably get ...

Typically, for a given rear height, you fork height influences your "flickability" - the ease, or lack thereof, with which you can throw the bike into a turn. You might also refer to this as the steering responsiveness. By lowering the forks you make the fork angle (rake) steeper which consequently ...

Hey Grinner, Since EGG hasn't responded to your question yet I thought that I would. Fork height can be adjusted by loosening the bolts on the triple clamps where the forks pass through. Once they are loosened, move the forks up or down in small (1/8") increments with test rides between adjustments ...

This is the best suspension tuning guide that I have found on the web: http://www.sportrider.com/tech/suspension/ But the bottom line is that if you want a really good suspension then the only choice is to scrap the stock setup and upgrade with something aftermarket. The general consensus is that ...

Racetech Fork Upgrade - Worth it or Not?
OK, I have finally had a trackday insane enough that I dragged my Pyramid Plastics lower, the aftermarket knurled pegs, and the front header on my Yosh pipes. So, my choices are to either slow the hell down (no way!!!!!) or upgrade my forks. Now then, short of selling my first born child there is no ...

Your welcome. Also, regarding the GSXR there have been some distinctly unkind things said about that bike in Road Racing World. It seems that one of the teams associated with that rag which races endurance is having to change valves before every race. They are having other problems as well and their ...

Hey Pete! Greetings from 8 time zones earlier! Shame about the shipping charges and all that. Otherwise you could pick up a Hawk/Storm here in the states for pretty cheap. On Ebay, at least, it seems that people can't get rid of them. Most of the squids over here, I geuss, want something gaudier ...

Thanks for your responses. I guess that short of someone posting who actually has both a Yosh full system and a Pyramid belly pan I will simply need to take my chances. Good thing the Yosh is such a great deal! Hey BlackStorm! What are you, my British alter ego? :D Anyway, just for posterity's sake ...

Full Exhaust Systems and Full Lowers
Hey all! Greetings from across the pond! Love my Superhawk (Firestorm to most of you) but I have a question I am hoping someone out there can answer. I have a Pyramid Plastics belly pan - really a full lower - on my VTR and I now want to add a full exhaust system. Does anyone know if the Pyramid ...
