i have tried twice to seal the generator side casing both times using a new gasket this is what ive done clean both faces of joint making sure no bits of gasket are left fit gasket over spigots tighten bolts fill engine with new 4 l of oil start engine after a few mins oil comes out repeat above cos...

my temp gauge is flashing 132c despite engine not being that hot i haave not ridden it it sounds healthy

the green socket
the wire to round post
then this odd wire which i put on a female clip i found on old thermo

if i had any hair id pull it out lol

could it be a frame earth .that's the only wire i can see on wire diagram that is singular. it bolts to frame then changes to green in( heyes manual there is a black circle which it connects too.

thats what the wire looks like but i got that on with spare wire left over

its a light weight black and green wire

can anyone nhelp im trying to wire up thermostat i have main plug green, black round connector screwed down wire but there is another wire i found black flat connector where does it go
