But what is your point, your concern? 8 or 10 bobbins makes no difference. If they work they work. If anything, stress and load will in effect be lessened as it's distributed through the additional 2 forks.

Update: All fixed by the looks of it. Wasn't the regulator, was the speedo sensor after all. After cleaning the terminals behind the clocks I'd taken it out for a ride. Still the same. Swapped the regulator for a brand new one from Steve97, still the same. Put my original regulator back on then swap...

Project Lightened Flywheel begins... Took delivery of an old crank today. Gonna whip the taper end off behind the 2nd journal. This will get gripped in an airchuck. That way I can clock it dead true & machine Tony.mons spare flywheel down that also got delivered today by our smiley postman! Goi...
