Hey up,
Like what you have done, very good job.
Where did you get the small clutch reservoir?
Looking that myself.
Cheers

Re: MOTOBATT Battery
Check as soon as it's running, if more than 16 volts best to turn it off straight away. How sure are you about that? I don't really have much of a clue when it comes to electrics/electronics. So please bare-with me. I have a multimeter which I have used to check this new battery of mine, along with...

Re: MOTOBATT Battery
Hey up, Thanks for all the replies and info. I did have the battery off the bike when measuring with a meter. It had sat since about May/June last year, untill....Feb this year. I pressed the start button and the engine whirred slowly and without much conviction. I knew from that it was flat. Though...

MOTOBATT Battery
Hey up, Got a bright yellow "MOTOBATT" battery on mine which doesn't want to turn the engine over properly. Sounds like it is flat. Ok, so I take it off and get a multi-meter on the terminals. It reads 16V. Which seems very high to me. The only technical info. I can find on the battery is:...

Re: Brake Banjo Bolt Sizes
Yes they are all M8 but as MacV2 said there are some with a fine 1mm thread and others with the standard 1.25mm pitch. If you have Std storm master cyl and callipers i am pretty sure they are 1.25 pitch Thank you very much. It is only the hoses which I am looking to change. Now that I know what bor...

Re: Brake Banjo Bolt Sizes
Hey up, Right, as I feared, there are lots of variations. I need to replace my front hoses, I'd like to go slightly longer than I currently have (which may or may not be stock), so that I can raise the bars up the forks. Working on the basis that they are a 12/13/14mm hexagon, with 1.25 thread pitch...

Re: RamAir Filtres
Hey up, I've got "pod" air filters on it now, but I have retained the original airbox and fittings. So I do atleast have somit to fall back on. I've read a little bit about people running K&N filters on here, seems to be that the best way to start is to ride it for a bit to get a refer...

On the calipers I have: 12mm Hexagons On the handles bars: I have a 14mm Hexagon. Can anybody tell me which thread this means I have please? Got ...

Re: RamAir Filtres
Hey up,
Brand of filtre mate, they are the British "answere" to K&N.
I'm not doing it for performance reasons, just want to get rid of the stock air filtre and box, to use the space.
Ta.

RamAir Filtres
Hey up, Does anybody have any experience of running RamAir filters instead of the stock filter over long periods? I was intending to just leave everything as it is and keep an eye on the sparking plugs. Then re-jet up or down and adjust the mixture as required. If there are pit-falls or tips you thi...

Re: Hello All
Fantastic, thank you.
Funnily enough, I went to see an upholsterer last night and he has moved the radiator to underneath the seat on his Ducati.
Looks like the answer.

Centre Stand
Hey up,
Has anybody on here managed to fit a centre stand to their bike?
They are right handy for some jobs and (I think) alot safer than paddock stands, which tend to take up space when not in use.
Failing that, what do people use to get the bike level for working on?
Thanks
