Re: MOTOBATT Battery

tony.mon wrote: Fri Mar 03, 2023 7:14 pm I can't think of any overcharging situation that would allow the battery to put out more volts than before, when the battery is off the bike and not connected to the charging system.

A fully charged, unconnected, battery cannot produce more than 12.6V

Re: Starter relay

I had similar issue. First start in 5 years and starter +ve was grounded through rust, which blew the relay up! Re: Bike Covers?

I have a Armadillo cover which is pretty good, they have 3 sizes available, this is the largest and has I have 2 project bikes inside comfortably. It’s less than a year old but seems pretty sturdy and durable. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20230228/9617c7d1bded68940e95cb15a1df424b.jpg Sent from ...

It keeps the rain off quite well, and is showing no signs of UV deterioration.
I have one of those too, but it's full of bikes

I use Oxford Stormex, but they only last about a year, as the adhesive on the seams goes dry and they then leak. Still the best I've used though. All covers are bad fo...

Re: Starter relay

Maybe a silly question, but did you remove the battery when it was being maintained?

If you reconnect the battery leads back to front by accident, that fuse will blow immediately.

Just checking.....
