Second Hand Info - I'm told the A166 from York to Bridlington is meant to be a good ride...never tried it myself though. And this weekend I will be mostly getting drunk at my mates wedding (I keep offering to lend him my trainers so he can do a runner!)

Likewise...I might smell of bacon but I don't bite...let us know if you're down this way, or Helmsley if it hasn't been washed away.

Gob smacked! If it really has happened then I would expect them to be hung out to dry. No-one should ever be treated like that, we've a duty of care to everyone, even those who are getting locked up. It does seem a bit convenient that a camera caught it all, unless he was prepared for some trouble w...

To get done by VASCAR, you only need to be chaecked over a distance of 0.125 mile as a preferred minimum. You CAN get filmed from a moving car, as long as the car is fitted with a decent video system. Speed guns don't work from moving cars (Iknow, I tried it once!). Sometimes they won't show you the...

It was in MCN afew months back...can't remember exactly, but I think it will make it illegal to import dark visors, including personal imports. Whatever they mentioned it sounded like a right pain in the ar... I've got better things to do than worry about who's wearing a dark visor when I'm at work.

Personally...I wouldn't even bat an eye lid at a dark visor if i stopped someone wearing one. I got mine from The visor Shop...and it was described as "as dark as shoei make"!!! sunglasses are painful, and as Kaz says, you can't take em off in a tunnel!

OH yes! You'll have to drill a hole in each side panel, something like 16 or 20 mm (I didn't fit mine so I can't remember exactly) on the trailing edge, a bit infront of where your knees would be when riding. Once the bungs are on you don't really see the holes.

The main issue is that visors have to be either BS or the equivalent E marked to be legal....none of the tinted ones are. Ben is right in that it would have to be a jobsworth who reported you JUST for a visor. Always carry a clear one if it's likely to either bung it down with rain or get dark whils...

I've got a set fitted. Some donkey at work moved my bike last month and it they dropped it...crash bungs saved the day. Having seen some of the other ones around, I think the R&G ones are the best looking. You'll need to put mini indicators on though (if you haven't already) as the originals wil...
