We are both very...

Liverpool to skegness
Just covered 400 miles from Liverpool to Skegness and back today! The longest journey I have done on any bike. My lovely partner decided we should visit her brother on a whim! Feeling thoroughly trashed! She is a lovely bike, but comfort may not be a strongpoint. Got Numb elbow and felt like my legs...

Anyone got any tips for cleaning up Fork sliders
My storm is only spoiled by two things imho. She has a bit of rust on the subframe, which I will eventually get around to, but the other thing is she has a lot of pitting on the fork sliders. What would anyone recommend to clean up the Fork sliders. They seem to be made of an alloy and I don't want ...

Re: Photo of the beast ;)
I've extracted one of the photos I took of the bike with my phone before I bought it and placed it here: http://www.vtr1000.org/cpg/displayimage.php?album=9&pos=204 It's poor quality but gives you an idea of what it looks like  Cheers Lee Nice Bike Lee, love the paint Job and the Cans too...

Welcome
Hi Lee,
Only new to this forum myself, seem a great bunch and very helpful. Only got my 99 Red storm in November, but it has me grinning like a cheshire cat.
One amazing bike! There's only one problem, I want to be out on it constantly!

Chain and sprocket set?
Hi folks, My mate reckons my Chain is good for another 2000K, he adjusted it to take out the slack. Unfortunately I am one of those riders that loves bikes but knows nothing about mechanics. I do make the effort to pick up tips. :? Anyway to get to the point, when I buy a new chain do I buy just the...

Anyone get out today!
Hi All, Anyone get out today? Was foggy up North, Merseyside that is. But it cleared by about 9.00am and me and my parntner went to Rivington Barn. Only the second time we have been and last time we followed some mates. So the inevitable happened, we got lost around Bolton, Burnley way, goin round i...
