there is a difference of about 8mm between the fork legs when the wheel is in and bolted up. Is this too much. I have phoned a Honda dealer who says there should be no gap at all and the spacers should be a tight fit between the fork legs. There is also no way of telling how big the spacers should b...

I have put a 2mm washer on each caliper bolt between the caliper and the inside of the fork leg. This seems to have done the trick. The clearance between the calipers and the discs looks the same on both sides. I stripped the forks to put new seals in them end the stantions are ok I think. They were...

the caliper needs to be about 4mm nearer to the wheel, but I am not sure it will still clear the wheel as it looks pretty near with the caliper touching the inside of the brake disc

brakes

Hiya folks. Can anyone offer me any advice? I have just fitted a '98 fireblade front end to my 'storm and have just put my brake calipers back on and the inside of the caliper body is almost touching the disc. This is obviously due to the larger wheel spacers from the 'blade pushing the calipers fur...

DOH!
Must be hung over more than I thought.
Yes. I have now phoned spondon, and they are sending me a pair. £75 + postage. Bargain.
I'm not usually this dumb, honest.
I think I should go back to bed, or drink more.
Cheers!

spondon clip-ons

Can I get hold of spondon clip-ons for my blade fork conversion on the web, as I can't find anywhere that sells them. The other alternative is Two Brothers But they are about £250, Ouch.
Any help would be appreciated.

Great dealer!

Pidcocks in Nottingham. Took my storm in for 16K service a few weeks ago. Excellent job done on the service, free courtesy bike, MOT, and pointed out a few bits to keep an eye on before the next service. All for a shade over £300. Friendly chaps all round. Plus the chap there that sold me the bike ...
