The gauge is working properly. The bike was at 14.1 running with the lights on, can't turn them off anyway.

Wouldn't it be charging more than that if I needed a new regulator? Do the regulators burn out on these really fast or what?

I have a reoccuring problem with my 98 superhawk. Occasionally when I go to start the bike, it is dead. Every time it has happened, I take the battery out and it is bone dry. I replaced the battery and the reg/rect and thought I had the problem solved, but it did it again last week. I refilled ...
