Blimey, you could open your own dealers with that lot!

The warranty is only 1 month, so no worries on servicing.

If you're selling the Storm, have you still got that Renntec rack? If you're selling it separately, I'm interested.

Well, I collected the VTR from Tillstons and all seems OK now.
No apologies from them though; I won't be giving them any business come servicing time.

They came and collected the bike this morning while I was at work. I phoned them at 3pm to see if they'd had a chance to look at the bike. This is how the conversation went: Service bod: Hello, Tillstons Me: Hi, it's Mr blindmaninchains SB: ... Me: you picked my Firestorm up this morning SB: yeah Me...

I have a fairly big noggin and for years I thought helmets were SUPPOSED to be uncomfortable.

Then I tried my first Arai, just the entry-level Condor, £199.

It was like laying my head on a pillow. Recommended.

Well, it's going back to the dealer cos it ain't working! When I picked it up on Tuesday night, it wouldn't tickover outside the dealers and when I pulled the choke out, it made hardly any difference to the revs or the bike's ability to tickover. The salesman summoned a mechanic who said "...al...

Picked it up tonight, -1 up here 8O Impressions of my Storm (now I'm used to a GSX-R600) are: Skinny Relaxed riding position Very poor front brakes. Which is a bit worrying, because the GSX-R's brakes didn't stun me after switching from my old Storm. but most of all... GRUNTIER THAN A BEAN-FED PORNS...

FireStorm #2

Hello again! I used to post on here when I had a red 97 Storm which I swapped for a GSX-R600 K1 in October 2007. After selling the GSX-R, there was only one bike I wanted... a KTM SuperDuke! But seeing as I had £2000 to spend, I plumped for another VTR. 8) It's a 2000 model, 20k on the clock, loads...
