just to let you all know I took off the sprocket cover and underneath it was caked. I removed the plunger which was covered in chain gunk and cleaned all around the area, the plunger and the cover.

Refitted it, did 25 miles and had no problems at all.

Many thanks
Paul :D

Nope thats fine.

I did find a thread which kinda sounded like this where one of the guys on here changed the clutch springs to ebc ones?

Could it be this and is it an easy job? Also where would i get them from?

B&Q sell alloy either in strips or sheets. Ive just bought a strip for mine as the wrp pipes I received (sh) have mounts to the rear mudguard..don't fancy that! And it looks a bit agricultural!

I've had 2 rsvs and a falco. Only problem I had on my 52 mille was warped brake discs fairly regularly. The factory was a fine bike. To me, the design and quality was well above any ducati and on par with japs. Did a lot of miles on the milles too! Better than the falco for comfort strangely.

STrange noise!

Wonder if this post will dissappear too?! Anyway, upon pulling away I seem to occassionally get a strange screetch. Dunno how to describe it apart from that! Seems to be at the beginning of the drive. Also when its hot and ticking over, say at a junction, it momentarilly stops, then carries on. What...
