Any port in a Storm...
I'm looking for some advice on fitting some new sprockets to my Storm and perhaps a new chain if needed. I'm looking to go to 16/43 or 15/43. Will the original chain fit it? I've changed my old classic's by attaching the old chain to the new chain and pulling it through. Can I do this on a Storm or ...

What makes it worse on the Norton, is that when is pisses all over the tank it sort of stirs all the 60 years of sh1t that's been quietly residing in the bottom, and covers all the chrome with brown. Looks like it's just had bad diarrhoea. I never fill the tank more than 3/4 full now otherwise eithe...

Same as mine. Registered on an '02 plate but is actually a 2000 'FY' bike. The only time I've let mine go to the light was a couple of weeks ago on a jaunt across mid-Wales to Barmouth with two Beemers and a VFR in persuit, and got 124 miles. After reading some of the posts on here, I now sit on the...

If it's the same as mine (Datatool System 3), you've probably got hacked-off with it arming itself when you you're at the petrol station unless you leave the ignition on; or that evertime someone breathes on it, or you go to wash it, it 'twirps' at you before giving you the Full Monty. Also, every t...

The first service is normally free from the Dealer it was bought from. My '02 Storm had been sat in the showroom for quite a while (found out later it was an '00 FY Model) and so was sold at a heavy discount from a shop in the Croydon area. When the guy who bought it came to have it serviced (first ...

Funny colour blue one
Funny colour turquioise one (Teal) seen 16.45 twix Rhaydar & Tregaron mid-Wales (or somewhere near there - we'd been out all day and my wrists were killing me) on Sunday 26th August. I was on another funny coloured one in the middle of a couple of Beemers.

Cutting Out
Anyone know why a Storm will cut out at idle intermittantly? This happened to me today 5 times when travelling back from work today (around 20 miles). Weather was great (no rain - so no obvious electrical problems), and it only happened at idle or just off idle. Tickover is set at c.1150 revs, carbs...
