The first thing I would be inclined to do would be to check all the earth points, ie battery, alternator, starter motor then go from there. Sounds like it could possibly be a high resistance in the starter motor when warm.

I picked up my 2002 f2 on ebay, 2 owners, 6k on the clock, high level cans a years mot and tax, new rear tyre and just been serviced for £2500. They are out there and cheap enough for the quality of bike you get you can't go wrong :D

Davey's bike sounds like a very reasonable deal 8)

V2 90° DOHC decal?

Can anyone tell me if the V2 90° DOHC decal on the rear side panels was only fitted to the earlier models with the smaller tanks? I have the later model and have no decals on them and quite frankly that area looks a little bare.

Well I fitted my Acumen gear indicator today and must admit it was a lot less worrying than I thought it would be 8) the job was made pretty easy by the fact the loom going onto the clocks is nice and long, all the wires were easy to get to and within about an hour the whole job was done. All loomed ...

Acumen gear indicators

Hi, just wondering if anyone has any experience of Acumen gear indicators? I have recently bought a storm and for some reason I'm finding it a little hard to tell what gear I'm in  (probably because it seems to pull in every gear). Also maybe down to the fact I've had a 7yr lay off from riding ...
