What are you drinking- right now
A lovely new thread for folks to give us a minute buy minute update on the current lockdown liver pickle. I'll kick off with a Brampton's Brewery "Jerusalem". We've been supporting our local breweries by buying a mixed case from around the country; yesterday we finished off a very nice Sky...

Re: What are you listening to.....right now?
I'm mostly listening to the tinnitus- but luckily, I have saved a fortune on earplugs.
I'm spending the cash on alcohol, so have started a new thread entitled "what are you drinking- right now" so I don't feel left out.

Re: riser clipons, what height needed? - what's recommended?
From memory the Woodcrafts were 2" or 2 1/2" rise. Well made piece of kit, recommended. They bolt onto the fork below the top yoke, and I set them slightly above the top yoke, but they're adjustable, maybe Jonesy or Mac moved them to fit their ergonomic preferences. One of the reasons I fi...

I was distinctly unimpressed with their new calipers, the two casting halves didn't match at all well on the set I looked at.

Re: Quick question about engine timing
I don't think that I've actually measured cam chain slack anywhere other than at compression tdc. There's no reason to do so, so it could happen with all of them... but there's no logical reason for this to occur. Does it happen on both cylinders? If only one, then it's possible that a cam is distor...

Re: Quick question about engine timing
Something's not right here. Setting the tension at compression T mark should give you the slackest point, the chain should not become more slack than it is at that point. Suggest you don't try to start it until you get to the bottom of it. You didn't damage the chain, did you? trying to rotate the e...

For sale, Exhaust wrapping kit, Sevenoaks, 15.00 posted
I bought the bits I needed to wrap the downpipes on my Tuono, but due to the closeness of the downpipes, there was no room to wrap both, so I have enough to wrap two Firestorms or SP's. The wrap is 2" wide, and is complete with stainless tie wraps. It's enough to wrap the entire system. PXL_202...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Brought the Tuono indoors, it's too cold to work outdoors. The plan was to wrap the downpipes. Access is somewhat limited: PXL_20210123_144336215.jpg There is very little clearance between the two downpipes, and so I had to give the idea up. A couple of other jobs remained- the New Rage Cycles tail ...
