Small automatic car, anyone?

My son's girlfriend lives with us, she's just written off her car, and can't get finance in a new one.
She's looking for a smallish engined automatic car, 1600cc or less is good.
Her budget is 2-3k.
Let me know if you have anything she might be able to afford to get to work.
Thanks πŸ˜—

Zero? That's how much interest I have in having one. But then I resisted electronic "safety aids" until I got my Tuono V4 Factory, they're the only way I've stayed on top of the thing ever since.... I just hate to think of the millions of Jurassic invertebrates giving up their little lives...

Re: A rather rounded stator cover bolt...

I also had some of these, they weighed slightly more that the original aluminium alloy ones! Had to get some additional drilling done to avoid upsetting my OCD. But they won't round out. I doubt you'll find any for sale, though, they were made by a now-inactive former member in his high tech work en...

It shouldn't do, it's a shorter engine so the cam chain won't over ride the cam sprocket teeth if the cct fails.

Let me know when you pick it up and fancy a rideout. You might keep up next time we go up Farningham Hill!

Re: Fresh out of the bin zone

It has to be electrical or fuel, check that the plug cap is on properly. If it is, then pull the plug and check for sparks. Could be that a connection to that coil has popped off.
If you have a spark, check the carb for the affected pot.

I may not have saved any fuel cost using the van to get me there and back, but I certainly saved expensive bike tyres!

That was a great weekend - two full days of riding with a good group both days, no-one got lost and no dramas.

Diamond job, thanks to all who helped make it work so smoothly😁

And it didn't rain the whole time!

Re: New exhausts...

Back when I had a Storm I fitted llambda sensors in the two downpipes and a little electronic display that showed me the actual fuel to air ratio while I was riding. It responded the same way on the road as on the Dyno. You can lessen the effect by fitting different slide springs, or drilling of fil...
