Re: Happy birthday MacV2
Happy birthday, Mac. :Beer Popcorn: You can now officially make grunting noises when you sit down or stand up. Just six more years to go now until the state pension kicks in! (Unless Labour move the goalposts after the election). Tip of the day: buy yourself a bicycle or some skis. That way, ...

Re: 2024 TT
I couldn't go this year, but the TT+ live coverage is definitely worth the £15. Full coverage of both practice and race weeks. It'll be a pity to see Michael break Joey's record of TT wins, but at least it'll stay in the family. Mind you, he might not do it- he has a wrist injury. And it's a two-wri...

I agree with Mac, no need for concern with these temps.

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Tried out the Abba stand with front lift attachment that I bought this week. It seems pretty stable, and although the strap device holding the rear down (on one side only) is a bit " Heath-Robinson" it works well enough. It'll make it easier to clean, having both wheels off the ground, wi...

Re: Moto GP shake up 2027.
So expect all manufacturers to rush out new 850cc superbikes. There won't be much of a CC gap between those and the A2 compatible versions. I won't miss the wings and aero- but the height-lowering tech on some giant trailers seems to have proved a good idea for shorter riders. Ah, well, the best rid...

I've no idea whether a standard exhaust on an SP has a lambda sensor; mine was non-standard.

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
I've had a pulsing vibration at wheel speed from the front discs for ages, so took my Brembo discs ( on the Aprilia) to Maidstone Motoliner a few weeks back to have them trued. But I still had pulsing, so, today I cleaned the discs using fine emery and Scotchbrite pads, and I also cleaned the pad f...

Re: does VTR1000 2001 has lambda probe?
The fuel-injected Varadero engines ( which are based on the same engine) will possibly have one, but I don't know for sure.
