hoo feckin rah 8) 3 months on & this morning an apparently undamaged SP1 FRONT head has arrived by parcel post. after previously being sent a damaged one, plus one off a firestorm cos the breaker thought an SP1 IS a firestorm & been promised a correct head that they then knackered separating...

gotta add my congrats on this. love me SP1 but I'd love an SP2 (especially in black) even more. I doubt there's a better bike you could buy for similar money & the kudos is priceless

I'm more surprised at yer 'poor fuelling' comment than its comfiness Jim. SP1's are on/offy at low revs but the the SP2's have significantly upgraded fuelling specifically to cure it.

You think? in the absence of any definitive conclusion or even a single techie deeming it a likely probable cause, its no more than conjecture. personally, I'd like to believe redex was the cause cos then I could guarantee...

Still don't get this Redex malarky tho! that was me putting the stuff in me SP1 as a 'precautionary' measure after she'd been laid up over the winter :whatever probably a coincidence but 20 miles later I had a cracked head. oddly its the front one, whereas if it'd been an overheating issue you'd ex...

parkers prices are always lower than real world prices. no CCT's to worry about on SP's. I'd sooner have a 3 year old SP2 than a spanking new Blade.

got asked the same question by my insurer on the SP. ultimately it made zip all difference to the premium though - meta 357T I think mine is.

thats a hell of a good price for an SP2
and you could do worse than be stuck with it!
