Hokai..... I'll be at the pyramid from 9am, head over the Snake and be at Ladybower Inn (I know it now, just never paid attention to it!) for 11. We can go on from there. If the NE crew are going over the Snake, past the butty van, as we will, couldn't we all meet there for a brew? Otherwise, i'll n...

Dunno, haven't been without one for about 9 years! I guess I could learn to live without it - I use it for ringing out more than folk ringing in! It aids my 'must-be-done-yesterday' lifestyle, which , to be honest, I could do with tempering a bit! Sparrow - didn't know you were a MTB'er! It's the wa...

My head hurts.....lots...... :D Right, I can get anyone from the petrol station and/or the 'pyramid' to Glossop and the A57 Snake Pass with ease, i'm not familiar with the Ladybower Inn, I do know the Snake Pass inn though. I thought we were hooking up at the Derwent water visitors centre, left off ...

That'd work, Graeme! The 'pyramid' is only a junction down from the Cheadle turn (going anticlockwise). So we'd meet at Ladybower tea hut by the dam? We could hook up in Glossop as a group and head out from there - thats easily doable. Can't check the forum at work (must ask the kids for a proxy sit...

I think we need to let everyone know where everyone's meeting! Well, I need to know who's meeting me, so I can a) wait for them and b) set off as soon as the last man arrives. Does it need a new thread or can we patch it into this one to avoid a third thread (on top of Tim's 'Who's going' thread). 1...

F%ck me. I went cold just reading that. Hows the fella doing these days? I've ammended my last post, with a clearer route plan. I've also had to cut a bit off the end - i've got to be back for a wedding meeting, another reason i'm riding sensibly. That and my future spouse (42 days and counting!) is...

I agree chaps, I'm not one for riding in large groups myself, so if we all take it steady we'll all get home ok. No overtaking is always a good rule, as is riding with your lights on in a group. If i'm ahead i'll stop before each turn and wait - noones in a rush! My mate on his R1 is willing to be r...

I sold my last Hornet to a bloke in the Canadian airforce - he contacted me beforehand and I arranged cash on collection only. He bought the bike to travel around Europe on before his post in the UK started. Met him at Leeds station on time, took him back to mine and did the deal - he was great, no ...

Could do that mate! I'm up for anything (within reason and occasionally the boundaries of the law). Easy enough to do, then head out into the peak district from there. If we head up the Cat from the Buxton side, there road's not great - its the Macclesfield side thats the business. Its easy enough t...

Mike, if you give them a ring they'll tell you what you can get free - when I subscribed the offer was an oversuit, but when I rang the lass went through a whole list of freebies - I ended up with a set of Teng ring spanners! I suspect they've boxes of shite they can't shift..... that said, i've bee...
