Indeed, interesting.
There doesn't seem to be too much of a rate of decline but that's a high rate of SORNs.
I'll not be getting rid of mine either.

Re: chinese fairings
Although none are shown for the Firestorm model, Alibaba (.com) have some very funky SP fairings that may interest a few of you.

This flying trampoline reminds me of the flying bedstead that almost killed Armstong. I can't see it taking off either way but Top Gear might like it.

Good luck with the CBT then
A little better looking than the Jailings my mate did for his CBT and a smart buy too!
Is your girlfriend going forthe 'Cruiser look' or the 'Route 66 lifestyle'? Or both.

Re: Screech on start up
Added to that, I suggest checking out the starter motor for a dry armature end and front gearing - used to get this on stop-start-stop-start courier bikes. While you have this out you can also check the condition of the brushes and the commutator.

Sorry to hear that Alec. A speedy recovery to you.
Oh, I've got my ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) reconstruction operation at the end of the month! Off the bike for a few weeks in July but rather that than not have an ACL at all. Woo hoo.

And don't let benny near your front or rear end  :x  :D Especially with a hammer! Benny, are you positive that a properly warped rotor (and not one that has shifted on the float mounts) can be corrected with a well aimed smack with a mallet I don't agree with you mate. As I understand it,...
