Hi, The Varadero flywheel has arrived & it weighs a bit, 2186g or 4lb 13 1/8oz in old money, with the sprag still on. I will remove the sprag clutch tomorrow & update the weight so it can be cross referenced with a VTR one. I'm thinking of challenging cybercarl's super lightweight world rec...

And the spindle diameters are different.. and swing arm angle will change and so will shock length and rising rate ratios unless you sort linkage properly. Longer dog bone required. They are also thinner across the mounting width so your rear sets will need to be different.. just to add that in the ...

Basically as it says, after the rubbery bits that the carbs mount on.. they go between them and the engine.

its easier to lose 2 pounds than do all that machining imho. However if you need to make the bike lighter! You're not wrong there with a lot of stuff on the bike..
