Long time no hear from you. Aye those hedges have a nasty habit of creeping closer to you, as you drift wider round the corners. Was it the red storm that you had at Knockhill ? Went down to the storm gathering via the A7, what a cracker of a road, with a great surface and not much traffic. Cheers A...

Blue Flames

I have High level blue flames on my 97. They look good from the rear (after a bit of pushing, pulling and a bit of hacksawing when fitting). Sound good. If retaining the rear pegs they give you 2no whopping 4" spacers, I felt that if anyone heavier than the tooth fairy put weight on them whilst...

Hi all, got back to the lakes last night at 8.00pm after a 1/2 hour stop at Devils bridge. had 2 encounters of the boys in blue kind en route, 37 in a 30 that I thought was a 40 in Harrogate, then when leaving Grasmere and heading up the crawler lane towards Keswick whilst fully on the gas I spotted...

Tried them tonight after I had bored another 3 x 6mm holes between the 8mm pipes. No apparent flat spots but you can feel that it does not rev as freely. The Blue Flames are a bit more subtle and not as harsh, ie everbody walking along the street did not turn round as on other nights. Cheers. A.M. ps...

I have got a set of the decibel killers. My only worry was how they would affect the power like the poster at that time had said. i dont fancy a flat spot at 6000k when I need it. I was toying with boring 3 holes in the flat plate between the welded pipe sections to let it breathe more easily. Cheer...

Going back a while now but did you ever get those Quiet baffles from ??? cant remember the posters name. Just that I have a pair myself and was wondering if you got them, had you tried them, as I remember the poster complaning of a power loss/flat spot mid way in the rev range. I was wondering if an...
