Lovely. I'm fully restored to comfortably numb.
Cheers for that

Is my starter motor on it's way.....
Need some experience here. My 'storms starter motor is generally fine but when it's been for a good run I find that sometimes when I go to start her again she kind of turns over once, stops and has a little think about it and then fires up :wtf: Just one of those things or is something sinister happ...

Re: How many times have you been stopped by a bike cop?
Myself, not as yet however I thought that I could enlighten some of you who are maybe unaware of speed traps and ANPR vehicles. We won't go into the Volvo driving traffic officer, it's a mandatory requirement to have a sense of humour by-pass prior to joining traffic or RPU. :shifty: I noted that Bi...

Re: Bolt shearing shenanigans
Ah so perhaps the leak is the grease. Fingers crossed. I've taken her in to my local bike shop where they said they'd sort it and commented on my cheap and nasty bolts :eek2 before trying to sell me a Bennelli Tornado. I explained the significance and the joys of the Firestorm. They are pretty good ...

Bolt shearing shenanigans
Need advice. My precious was being polished yesterday when I noticed a minor oil leak dripping off the stand. It appears to be coming from the back end of the gear box by the chain wheel. Any offers of experience or just a knackered seal.....? :| More importantly i then moved on to check the bolts a...

Re: Be gentle, it's my first time....
Such a warm welcome. Many thanks. I'm a young Jedi (31 should quantify as young?!). My bike is a '98 Firestorm with only a paltry 11,000 miles on her clocks. I'm strictly a sunshine biker so she's never seen any rain. In fact she doesn't know what rain is. Hopefully this won't incur me an outcast st...

Be gentle, it's my first time....
Hello All, New member of your forum here. Couldn't think of anything witty, so opted for calling myself Firestorm Jedi. I've had my 'storm for about five years now and love it more every time I ride it. She's currently hibernating but I feel it's time she's earned a treat or two and so it's to you g...
