After some brain dead mechanic had tightened the battery terminal screws so tight they snapped when trying to disconnect it, replaced the BM's battery with a Motobatt MB12U and attached the optimizer leads to the spare terminals. Replaced the front pads, fitted a top box, fender extender and stuff ...

Hi Chris, Only a few at the moment. My next job is to look at the CCT :(. They sound OK at the minute, but what I've been reading on here, they are a big risk. Better you did that than trying to ride off with the disc lock still fitted, which is what usually happens :wink:

Thanks guys, I guessed as much. I have acquired all sorts of stuff from cleared garages. Yesterday a free New Clarke 6" bench grinder!, Which will allow me to fit some polishing wheels to my old one. Also a free 1/4" drive socket set, good for vtr small spaces?. The extra bench grinder will come in...

Have my a good going over yesterday. Fairings off. Checking everything. Topping up the coolant. Greasing the starter motor terminal. Also fixed my gpi. It stopped working a month ago. Traced all the wiring until I found a broken wire. All fixed now. Painted the mirrors. Fairings back on and polishe...
