I put a couple of washers undermine to stop that very thing. I didn’t like the way it stresses the plastic

Cheers Pete  I think something like that will do the trick,

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

Nice to be in the workshop without feeling cold for a change :D I started to fit the Renntec grab rail this afternoon to the Firestorm, well the mounting bracket set-up that is. I can't say I'm over the moon on how the base-plate of the grab rail sits on top of the seat fairing plastic's, even with ...

Re: Helmet Cam Mounts

It seems to be private, were you exspeeding the limit, by any chance? I still have concerns over riding with people with cameras recording me, I know that isn't the purpose but I'd rather not hand the bill the evidence to convict me. Haha, hard to even get to the speed limit round these parts! I've...

Re: Stumbling at 5000 rpm petcock question

What are the plugs like? When the vac stops the fuel should cut off, so something wrong with the tap, but the float needles in the carbs should prevent excessive overfilling, so I don't think that's your problem. I agree with Tony, something not right with the tap, but it shouldn't be overfilling a...

Re: Helmet Cam Mounts

It's a Drift Stealth 2, unsure if they still make them but they're available on Ebay. The microphone muff is a recent addition, it's got a sh1t mic in a sh1t place, catches all the wind. The video quality is OK, it's certainly no GoPro, but it's less than half the price! I'll get a clip up on the t...

Re: Helmet Cam Mounts

Not a GoPro style one but this is how I mount mine too https://i.postimg.cc/Wdc5M2Jb/20200217-140604.jpg I feel it's a decent perspective as you catch the oncoming side of the road more, and those shoulder checks. Out of interest what make camera is that you have and what is the video quality like ...
