Re: The RD400 drag bike

Oh and while I am commenting on bodges that I keep finding, here is a good one. When I took the LH piston off, there was 2 circlips fitted on the inner side of the small end!! Circlips.jpeg That was a timebomb waiting to wreck the bore when it worked its way out 8O 8O A good job you found that Al :...

I can imagine you are chomping at the bit to get going now :) hopefully you won't have to wait too long for the powder coating to be completed,

Re: N + 1 Again.

Nice one Mac :D :D Have you ridden it yet, if so how does it handle with what looks like RWU F/Blade forks sticking up through the yokes a fair amount :?: :D Chris. Not yet gonna insure it on Monday, my renewal is up so i'll just add it on... & tax it. My premium has gone down this year which i...

Re: Mac v2

The Haynes Manual is very useful for many things, just don’t follow it for CCT (Cam Chain Tensioner) removal, follow our link in the Workshop Section instead. Apparently if you do purchase a Haynes Workshop Manual you want one like the one in this link, have a read and look here: http://vtr1000.org/...

I cannot post anything since I now have been blocked by spamhaus. I don't blame them. They probably read your Blonde joke and knew it had to stop. Seriously though. MalwareBites offer a free scan service if you need to check if your PC has been infected. Pete.l Pete is almost there, it's &quo...

Re: yuasa battery

Re: yuasa battery

I didn't realise it was so bad buying from the UK now  I did read online somewhere at one point they had a code to workout the date of manufacture, however I believe that was years ago. It would be useful I agree. Ever since the business of not being able to sell the battery acid separately, w...

Re: yuasa battery

I would suggest getting your new Yuasa YTX14H battery from Tayna (just double check they deliver to Dublin) because they will have a higher turn over than Halfords so more likely to get a newer battery. Interestingly I have just purchased the exact same battery from Tayna myself for my Storm. I have...
