Old bike is farting good and proper on over run now, and sometimes when idling, seems to be from the left pipe as seen from behind.

I thought I had better, after 2 years, do some remedial work on the 'storm. Always been regularly serviced and cleaned, new cct's 6 months ago, but I made the mistake on the last dry buck fickin cold day we had last week, and took my mates 2004 Fireblade with 4500 miles on the clock for a blast. Mate, If I was looking for a tourer out of the bunch of bikes you suggested, your Blade is probabaly as good as, if not better [tank range!] than the Storm! Well I think that was going to be the last ride out of the year, weather was gorgeous but cold roads were slippery as hell.
So it was back home for a major clean and polish, followed I think by bed for the winter.
