ok so i was a bit short on the info, but i was in the middle of a crisis ! im making a firestorm supermoto (i would add photos but forgot how to) all is now well, we had to machine the bottoms off the forks and start again. things should go smoothly, now (fingers crossed)i just didnt want to scrap o...

me again, today was going to be a good day. we put my new yokes on the miller, drilled all the clamps milled out the underneath lovely jubly. i turned the fork bottoms down so the new caliper mounts fitted welded them up but while they were boiling hot i thought i would unscrew them....disaster the ...

hi all i wonder if one of you chaps can help. i am after the length of the standard firestorm forks. from the top including cap to the spindle center will do- this is easiest to check witout any load so you might have to push up on the bars when it is on the sidestand . i aquired mine with the forks...

swing arm bearings
help! just fitting new bearings in swinging arm, rhs ok, but on the left there doesnt appear to be any spacers to pack out the roller bearing (well, i have no bits left over!)the dust seals would push right in. i know it 'floats'on this side but it dont look right, is this correct or have i lost som...

just tried to find posts on how to stop failures if the springs break,but there are tons of em ! which is the most up to date mod, just in the process of changing mine while the engine is out

Does any one know where i can get an alternator cover made in kevlar to match one i have on the clutch ?

Ay up,hope everyone is enjoying the good weather.
had the firestorm (in bits)for a couple of years but now its coming together.
Full on supermoto style, with KTM forks and tail end, home made tank & exhausts.V different i think
will post photos if someone tells me how!
