I repaired the fairing of my old ZX6-R by lining up the crack(s) and using a soldering iron on the inside to seal.

Worked a treat and was barely visible.

They also do chains/sprockets/exhausts.

I'm gunnna check 'em out in a coupla weeks. They have come highly recommended from a mate.

I posted a similar question on the Yahoo VTR list, alas, not many replies considering it's such a big issue. A different rattle at low-revs is one reply I had, other than that not much info.
