New BT014's

Wotcha folks Just had the new BT014's fitted front & rear and they're great! Thought the 010's were good handling but the 014's make you go hunting for roundabouts! Drop into corners fast and, even better, have no objection to getting you upright again afterwards! Haven't tried 'em in the wet ye...

Rider Training

Hiya All Just thought I'd tell you about a training course that's up for grabs. Run by the Met, it's called Bike Safe, http://www.bikesafe-london.co.uk . It costs £25 for a whole day (includes coffee & lunch) and you get a load of riding tips and two observed rides by police bikers. They don't ...

tyres

Hiya Using BT010's at mo. They were already fitted (and well scrubbed in) when I got the bike last year, I've done over 4000 miles since (inc.touring and commuting) and they don't need replacing yet! They drop into corners beautifully and give loads of confidence in the rain and on cold roads. (If a...

The throttle is very responsive, the gearbox is very forgiving and it stays comfortable over long distances. I did 350 miles through France in a day without pain ( I was nearly blind fro...

Dry Fuel

Thanks Pete

Plugs are new, I just saw the performance difference on my lady's bike and got jealous! I might give it a go and let you know what happens.

Dry fuel

I have just cured my other half's poor starting & running GS500 using Dry Fuel additive (it made a huge difference to the power delivery as well). Does anybody know if it will make any difference to the Storm, or if it will cause any damage? 8O

Whitehouse Honda

Just to say that I used Whitehouse for a service and was most impressed. When I phoned them, they gave me a breakdown on cost, parts & labour. As my brake pads needed replacing they booked me in at short notice. I got the bike back cleaned and running like a dream. Shame the courtesy bike was a ...
