Ive got a set of PFM rotors to put on at some point, Cost £20 each from Busters a while back.
One of my disks was warped and i put a stealth viper replacement rotor on it, but when i saw the busters offer, had to buy them

Just in the process of sorting my brakes out.
Couple of the pistons have been sticking, so im pushing the pistons out, splitting the calipers and a damn good clean up(once i've finished decorating the comput^h^ new babys room).

Should get the brakes fettled nicely.

Had mine done just over 1 1/2 years ago. There was a week between fronts being done and the penske going in the back. Even with the forks being dropped 5mm, the front end still felt like it had been raised up, this was on stock rear suspension btw. Nice and progressive on dive when hitting the brake...

Penske

You need to speak to Roger @ Revolution if your after a Penske. He gets them custom made from the Penske race dept. Best thing i did to my storm was put the Penske in along with a Revolution fork tune. Not cheap at around £520 i think now. Revoution web site is http://www.revolutionuk.co.uk Robb St...

Does seem a trifle low.
Mine was 108bhp at rear wheel on standard cans with Dynojet + K&N, which werent set up right, running a tad rich.

bikes and stuff

Hmm, first a CB100N, great little bike, till i blew it up. Front brake was dire, a cable operated disk. Next was an RZ250LC YPVS import. Total mad bike. Came with 90/90 front and rear, so first stop was a set of metzlers, 33a on front and 99 on the rear. Bit of a break for a few years, then got an M...

Wellll, according the disk carrier, says min thickness 3.5mm.
So i have a bit to play with.
Straightning the disk only works if its same thickness all round and warped. Mine is varying thickness, so cant just get it pressed.

Disk Skimmed

Any one recommend a good place to get a disk skimmed. Front right disk is causing a judder through lever and bars. Took it off and measured with a micrometer, lowest point is 4.21mm and hightest point is 4.29mm(measured at centre of brake rotor). Left hand disk is with .02mm all the way round. TIA R...

Using an XR800 at moment, lot quieter than my old GRV.
Ear plugs help to get rid of the wind roar, and a respro foggy helps with the misting. Tried a Fog-city, but no good with sunglasses on. Worked very well though.

I used to have the occasional problem with cold starting. Then i bought an optimate and got into the habit of putting the bike on charge every night. NO problems with starting in the morning, until the day the carb to the front pot gave up the ghost and i ended up with a 500cc single :(

Grinner Try and get to hear a set of the high level MIGS if you're after a set of cans. I think they're classed as race cans however they're very quiet ones. Bit louder than road legal but not at all offensive. Look the muts as well. Yip, Carbon migs are quiet, unless you take out the restrictor ba...
