Expensive if it doesn't improve things, why bother, all it will do at best is give you bigger chicken strips for people to mock. The fact that you are forcing the tyre onto a relatively narrow rim means that the profile will be different to that it was designed to have. Unless you have several years...

It's on their website, it's not foolproof and you will still need a solicitor.
However it revolves around sending a letter indentifying the rider and then stating that as they have not cautioned you they cannot use this admission as evidence. Read the whole article and make up your own mind

when I last saw this it was part of the rules for a drinking game : All players must sit in a circle The play goes anti clockwise If any of the guidelines 1 -20 are fulfilled the player whose turn it is has to have a drink chosen by the player on their left. The starting player is the one who by gen...

I have done it and got back just about what I had already paid in. You are however running out of time to claim anything, you need to act fast.

Mine very ocaisionally gets the vapour lock after refuelling thing, I think I've probably tried to get too much fuel in, the only other time it cut out was a faulty spark plug. The original reg/rectifier boiled the battery once as well but they almost count as a service item unless you buy a finned ...

I've just bought genuine new discs from David Silver, £85 each + vat + Delivery. I also bought new disc bolts as I think they should only be used once.

I tend not to wave, maybe a nod of the head. I don't want to take my hands off the bars unless I have to. However in France most bikers acknowledge on another by either raising the middle and index fingers on the clutch hand or by waving the left leg ? which is a lot easier as you are on the right h...

I'm off to the Bol D'Or in September, £36 return Dover - Dunkerque on Norfolkline (Bike + rider + pillion). 2 days for the Race, 2 days rushing around the Ardeche/Massif central. It just has to be done!!! If you've never been to a 24hr Bike race you are missing out. Tickets cost about 50-60 euros, ...

motorways are so dull to ride on it gives me something to work at. On twisty roads/trackdays I can get it down to 31mpg. I often go touring in France with a mate who rides a 96 Triumph Sprint and we inevitably fill up the same amount of fuel, but he has a much larger tank. I'm currently talking to S...

I do 90 miles a day commuting at 70 - 90 mph on Mway/A roads. I use between 8.3 to 9.3 litres for the round trip which is approx 48 - 44 mpg. Today I filled up with 12.66 ltrs having done 131 miles and the red light had still not come on. My storm is an FV, standard, has recently been serviced and h...

My R/R went again last year so I ordered a replacement from David Silver which came with a heat sink on it already and bolted straight into place and no wiring mods. It was advertised as an original replacement but it's worth phoning them to make sure it's the finned type. It was expensive £55 + va...

Doh!

My VTR had been stalling at the lights etc even when warmed up so I upped the tickover speed to 1100-1200 rpm. This worked for a while but last week I was setting off on a 200 mile ride when it started running on one pot. Stopped at the roadside and found the front exhaust was cold. Whipped the plug...
