Hi, I have some rust in my tank, has anyone used Tapox tank sealer? They say its Ethanol and petrol resistant?

Hi Chris,
yeh I took it to Tony and after we had a long good look over a cuppa we decided that I should keep riding it and see if it gets worse. We couldn't work out where the noise was coming from and the engine did make more of a rattle when I pulled back the throttle.

I removed the air box and put it back at least 5 times, dam that front pipe! I spoke to tony, he going to listen to the rattle on Saturday. I will let you know what he finds.

Hi Chris, I re-seated all the values, changed the front head as the old one was damaged, Honda new head gasket. The bike has had 2 owners, full service history from a Honda dealers, so I think the carbs are original, I have also been all around the carb area with a mechanics stethoscope and can not ...

Hi, thanks for the replys. It has no ignition advancer, I fitted manual ccts which I have screwed in and out all the way to see if the rattle would stop , and the bike has done 21,000 miles.

yes, that was the first place i went, i replaced it and it was still doing it, so i replaced the starter motor as well. lucky i have alot of spares thanks for the reply.

The reg on tick over is 1390v at 5,000 revs 1353 with no lights, but i just noticed when i reved to 5,000 it the speedo needle rose to 40mph.
