I've got 14.4v DC at a fast idle (choke on)
and 0.05 V AC sat on top of that.

It sounds like your rectifier is not rectifying any more.

I am no lectrical person, but if your reg/rec is OK then it would suggest to me that the generator isn't generating. check the connections to it. the coils in the generator do breakdown it happened on my nc30.

water wetter and stuff like it is available from demon thieves over here, it is said to break down the surface tension or some such technical stuff and improve cooling.

I've got 021's, changed them just before going to Spain. I find them much better than 020's. Really good in the Spanish mountains rain or dry.

Roger will also do the fork's by post if travelling is too far. Mine were just over £200 I think and £500 ish for a penske, but that was a couple of years ago now.
