Yep, its been a while but I finally got around to using Plexus on it and it did the trick. Almost all but the most stubborn spots were removed. Yay! :) VTR1000KAZ: Plexus is a plastics protectant and cleaner. Its relatively expensive as far as cleaners go... I think I paid about $13 for a can. I got ...

Hmmm... plexus. I have plexus, use it on my paintball visor. I'll try giving that a go. So you don't have any problems with stubborn watermarks Squirrel?

I only find that its on the fairings, have no issues with stubborn watermarks on the tank.

Cheers mate.

Problems cleaning matte paintjob

Just wondering if anyone has suggestions on cleaning a matte black finish on a bike.... I'm trying to get some watermarks off from riding in the rain last week (first time washing new 2004 Matte Black Honda VTR Firestorm) and there are some resistant little buggers that won't come off. I've even ...

Base bling is complete. All bling after this will be showy [:)]Removed rear indicators, and replaced with new lil' ones. Relocated locking mechanism to undertray to make room. Turned out quite nicely [:)] and hopefully will confuse or deter ppl who have plans to fudge with my lock! http://members ...

Hehe... PM... yeah... I shopped around but Staintunes where the cheapest, and I love the removable baffles that you can pop in and out with just a single screw. Plus it comes with spacers for the rear pillion set. The Rod is the rego holder... instead of the ugly square thing this looks much better ...

Bling parts 1, 2, and 3 complete. Now for the rest....

Finally got my new highrises (Staintunes) put on, changed my front indicators to Clearflux Flushmounts, and cut that ugly as all hell fender off! Now I'm planning to relocated the keyhole to the underside of the tray, and use the existing one to install a small dome LED indicator and drill a hole on ...

Highrise Mounts while still keeping pillion bracket

Can anyone name a list of exhaust manufacturers with high rise mounts for the firestorm that doesn't require the stock pillion footpeg bracket to be removed?

Eg Staintunes come with spacers so you can keep your existing one. Any other manufacturers do the same?

Flushmount indicators

Can anyone give me any online sites to order nice flushmount indicators from for the Firestorm?

Also the best way to eliminate your fender is it to do a home job or is there a kit that you buy?

Sorry for the noob questions!

Thanks for that. Can you still mount the pillion pegs or did you have to remove it?

Underseat Exhausts

Anyone have any pics of underseat exhaust mods for the Firestorm? I've been hunting around for pics but can't seem to find any.
