Thanks Pete

I've looked at the receipt and it says that the carbs were balanced - the plugs wern't changed (It was a 4000 Mile service) Been looking on the different threads and found one on a similar problem. The solution may be to use pro boost during the colder weather - is this something that you've used an...

I've got a set of wolf cans and she never had this problem before, the tickover is about 12-1300 rpm. Apart from that she was running fine. It was bloody cold - could it ...

Thanks Darryl,

Its a 2003 (F2 model) - only had it a week, as far as i'm aware its all on standard settings - feels a bit soggy all round for fast twisty A and B roads so i'm not pushing it at the moment!!

Any advice on the settings would be appreciated.

Cheers

Everything's set as standard at the moment - I just want to improve the standard bike's handling without spending any dosh. Chee...

I just got rid of my Viffer on Friday - I used to have the 2000 800 - great bike, as the guys have said above the VTECH's have several problems - including Fueling problems Servicing cost (Especially the 16000 one - engine out job!!) It won't keep up with a storm!!! Handling's a bit lardy. I think y...
