Sounds like I will have to persuade my friend to drop the idea.
Or advice him to mount a 25 litre jerrycan on the bike, using ducttape.

Anyway, his small tank is my only chance to take the lead, so it suits
me fine.

Hi guys,

A friend asked me, if the large 19 l. tank from af 2001+ vtr 1000 will fit on a
pre 2000 vtr 1000.

He crashed his machine, and is rebuilding it, but really wants the bigger tank.

Any comments, please.
