harris stopped doing the bigger ones ages ago, but dynomite still make them as they make them for d*cati's etc, i didn't think the bigger tank off newer bikes fitted the earlier models as the airbox was smaller on the later bikes as you'll see later bikes listed at 100bhp not 110bhp as the first ...

engine replacement

so thursday and friday this week were spent fitting used engine from spares unlimited, it took about 15 hours in my shed to remove old lump with failed tensioner/valves/head/liner, and replace with shiny 6000 mile engine, and i'm knackered (no bench), please note no help from anyone i did it all own ...

got busted for 110 on motorway, so being a bit scared stiff that week i did my usual journey in top gear 65mph (98 model) and it did 46mpg
