How is it you can be caught without tax, MOT and insurance and have a £400 fine and yet be 5 mins over a parking duration and get over a quarter of the fine!!!
But I suppose that's the price of Capitalism!!!??

Re: Firing on one cylinder
Blimey!
How is it that removing and replacing the choke cable is so involved! Haynes says...
Remove seat
Remove fuel tank
Remove Carbs
Remove/Drain coolant
just for an itty-bitty cable...... Any workarounds??

Re: Firing on one cylinder
That's a relief StratMan.
Cheers for that. I'm always worried when I see vehicles not staying at a regular temperature. Takes a small weight off my mind!
Will look at the choke tomorrow evening. Why is it that I just get comfy under the bike and the heavens open? Is it Sod's law at work???

Firing on one cylinder
A biker chap a few doors down with a triple thinks the Storm sounded today like it was running on one cylinder as i pulled off the drive. Now i'm Satan for saying this but as a new owner i'm not 100% sure of the correct sound. I does sometimes sound different if that makes sense? At 2500+ revs it so...

Hi mate..
Somethings happened when you copied and pasted the links. If you copy the above lines into a browser window WITHOUT the [IMG] placeholders it works.
I know, i saw the Bleeding COOL SP1.
Well done BTW!

Re: Grrrrr how convenient
I wonder what would happen if not a single biker EVER renewed their road tax! Total legal licences and fully insured... just not prepared to give the Shovernment a penny??? Think Gordy might get the message??

Hi Mick, Well i'm the opposite. Passed my test only 30odd days ago and went from a 125 to a 1000 and its a real kitten.... And then you turn the key!!! Seriously, i'm just getting used to mine - had her two days now and she's a little worse than yours, but still a great ride. Gently does it is the k...

AND I'M 35! To you mate... £280 tpft. That's garaged, with 6 points on the old pleasure passport and incl...

Re: Goodbye!
I think Timbo was trying to tell me the part he was looking for was £40 and not the fairings. You're right - they seem to be about £160 each side.
Sound about right?
