Re: TT manual cct.

Hi Tray, Two questions if possible.... Any pairs left? Whats the maintenence like on manuals. (leaking oil, tension adjustment etc?) I was going to get a pair of Dave Silvers auto CCTs but the price and look of yours is VERY compelling... as long as the upkeep is ok for a basic DIYer like me.. cheer...

Re: headlight covers and the plod

Theres also a way of getting around the whole sleeping pissed in the car and getting nicked for it! The police have to show that you were trying to, and "capable" of driving the car. The keys are indeed, the "key" If they are in your hand, pocket, front seats or ignition, then yo...

Thanks for the info, a Nr.6 and Nr.10 allen wrench did the job and opened the covers nicely!

I can second that!

Ordered and received within 24hours.

Excellent service and FAR FAR better than the £200 stock Honda option!

Re: Wireless CCTV - opinions and/or experience?

You might be confused easily, but at least you can read!

My eyesight however ain't gonna get any better. I thought they were IP cameras (thus transfering via WIFI over the net) As they are 2ghz they will be excellent.

Sorry, just having a... ermm.. blond(?) moment!

Re: Wireless CCTV - opinions and/or experience?

Hey Gilson, Funny I was looking at that sort of thing only last week! Asking around and therefore only 2nd hand info..... you need a really good/fast/reliable wifi connection. Apparently (obviously) the better the pictures sent, the faster the connection needs to be. Anything dropping below 20mbps w...

Re: Gear indicator

Giddsy,

Yep, me too. 2k-20mph upto 5k-50mph in second. Been using that for about three weeks when I found it out myself.

Phil, any chance of that circuit diagram? Would like to have go myself? Is hardwiring it to the wiring loom too bad?

Re: Ebay 'storm seller does well .

You're right though Tim,

I NEVER put anything on eBay without starting its price at the lowest i'll go. Ok, it may put some off bidding, but is a lot less expensive than a RESERVE and lets people know You know what its worth.

Shame though, at least you're not worse off!

Re: storm cut out

Hi JazzScott, It wasn't the mileage for me it was the SPEED. As soon as i went over 70mph, the fuel is forced through the diaphragm and also through the split, allowing more than usual through. This caused the engine to be enrichened too much and to cut out. Occassionally it would just cut virtually...

Re: storm cut out

Yep, bet it's the fuel tap diaphragm as PhilVT said.

Went on mine doing EXACTLY the same thing. Over 70mph it dies and you need to freewheel for a bit and gun it. Dont spend £200 from Honda - go to NRP.

better price me thinks!!

Re: Stormless

You see that's the things really. I did a fair bit of research before I went for the Storm. And that's where I found you guys. There's very little out there from people lovin' the RR's. ('spect there is if you look hard enough - ed!) But it was the money that did it for me. I got all this (pointing ...
