Steve ... If you ride an SV why do you keep coming back to the VTR board? Is there no SV board or are they not as entertaining as this lot? 8O

Or do you have some sort of a Jehovah witness syndrom?

Still a bit confused here ... :?

Why are you doing all the work and paying for the parts ???? If the bike runs like an asthmatic through a freshly cut meadow it's the dealer who needs to fix it not you!

Or is it just that you can't be bothered with the agro? 8O

I can only say that the CCT break happened to me when I was doing frequent short trips. (<3mls) Now that I live further from work I have not had any problem. ... No sure if this is conclusive evidence though

Number of links is 102. You will need a chain splitter tool (£50,-) or ask your local dealer to split the chain for you for a fiver

There is definitely something wrong with the fuelling of that bike. What I don't understand is that if the bike behaves that badly it should be easy for you to prove your point at the dealers. Let the bike run/idle in neutral. Show the dealer what happens when you rev it. It should not cut out/cough...

Thx Pete...
I sounded all a bit too good to be true ... especially as they don't back up their statement with any figures.

The sprocket option is very attactive and will do it when I replace the corrent chain. It has a tight spot in it which leaves my left hand numb due to the vibrations!

Factory Ignition Advancer

Has anybody got one of these fitted?

How do they work and where do they go in the engine?

Just seems funny that such a small bit of metal would make a lot of difference in power & torque?!

One company - the Dublin Tyre Company - would charge €80 8O (that's £52,-) for taking off the wheels, fitting the tyres, balancing & re-fitting the wheels... Thanks for letting me know - Was a nightmare when I did it on my zx6-r last. We were ½ way through when we noticed we needed a special...

How to remove the front wheel?

Do I need special tools to remove the front wheel?
Just got Diablo's off the web and want to bring in the wheels to a local garage to get them fitted. They charge too much to remove the wheels (that is if the will do it in the first place) so prefer to do it myself.

Thx!

Should be easy.
You either get on the EuroStar or boat to France and get on a train with the bike to the south of France. (or further?)
From their you ride into Italy.

Check the French Rail site or ask Oliv to check it out for ya?

MDJ, sounds like you'll be in for some Physio! I had the top of my Humerous chipped where the muscle attached to the top of the arm/shoulder. Was a painful experience - and no fun to loosen up the muscles once the fracture had healed. Specialists told me that I would make a full recovery ... I do ha...

Those Microns realy suite the bike! There are too many SP's out there with cheap looking cans that take away from the bike ... these are sweet! 8)
