fork set up
I would look at your fork set up before buying disks... (If you changed the set up recently this is your problem). I'm sorry but I cannot tell you how to fix it
Maybe someone else has suggestions?

Tight Spot
Anybody know how to get rid of a tight spot in an X-ring chain?
The chain has only been on the bike for 4000mls and has a tight spot in it which causes annouying vibrations on the left hand side of the bike.

Hate when that happens!
Keep an eye on eBay if you want to repair on a budget.
Otherwise contact http://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk they have Fairing panel, Left hand - Yellow colour code Y124 (FV/FW) .... £135.00
You could also try some breakers?

Welcome! Mind that engine braking in low gears!! If you're not used to a V2 it can take you by surprise. What bike did you ride previous? Just take it easy for the first while. As for tyres. Any decent sport/road tyre will do. Preference seems to lie with Bridgestone 010's or a 010/020 mix. For a mo...

This site has a lot of Torque settings - but none for the handlebars. only for the bar end weights.
I would not bother about those too much either. Can you not just fit them and set to the correct settings when the manual arrives?

All I hear about them that they're 'alright'... Not great in the wet etc. However they used to be standard equiptment on the Yam R6... so they cannot be that bad. They should be sporty, due to their triangulated shape. Pete, you in Dublin as well I see. Where are you based? I live in the North-West ...
