I have Hi Level Blue Flames on mine. They were fitted when I bought the bike. They look great, especially from the back. Much better then the original pipes. They sound great - but that's being said about all aftermarket. They are fitted over the rear pegs but these are still useable (just!)....

:D I reckon you should get out more .... 5.6k mls in 4 years! That's a disgrace :!: You might as well sell the bike! What's your excuse?  Sounds like you have all the nice bits added. Shame to sell such great bike ... but then ... if you never get to use it. No idea of price ... If...

Fitted Pipercross and had it set up
I had it set up with a standard filter - Made it to 140mls with a liter to spare... (I was going easy at 50-60mph due to heavy traffic)

Normally it's a 100mls or so - mixed inner city and dual cariage ways.

The extra HP sounds good through! :)

MDJ.....
Why do you think I don't ride an Old Red Zx7R with Purple wheels ....

Nah, I do like the colour scheme of the Zx but the Hyperpro purple is leaning on the lavender  rather then the strong Purple of the Kwak.

They seem to have a dealer/office in Ireland too.
Think I have already spoken to that guy some months back. Is the rear spring that purple colour shown?
Won't look good on a red Storm I reckon ... If I get it fitted I'll probably have it re-sprayed .... yella/white or black!

EGG,

That sounds like real world alternative instead of a £1000 overhaul! :D
Do you have a website where I can go to?

I have a pair of Progressive Springs at home but have not fitted them.

Cheers :!:

Thx 4 that! Do the R1 mirrors stick out much more?

The 00 R1 & R6 mirrors are they the same?

I broke my RH mirror when bumping into the side of the mirror ( :?:  :?: ) The glass just splintered!

Steve .... you are depressing me .... :)

RQ - just had a look on the site you gave. With current exchange rate it would be closer to £6990.
How are they as a dealer?

Cheers lads, thx for your time and wise words :o I might pop into the dealers to see what it will cost me to change. The Storm is still running great - 24K and 'smooth as', 2-finger braking and looking we for it's aged ('99) ... But I have had it for over 2 yrs now so am getting itchy feet... I woul...

VTR vs SV1000

This probably has come up before but has anybody ridden or owned a SV1000s?

I am curious how it compares to the Storm. I haven't seen many about to be honest.... maybe this speak for it self?

CCT failed @ 17.5k mls

Mine went and caused quite a bit of damage ... was only doing 15mph at the time through traffic!!! Apparently they are more prone to failing when the bike is ridden hard or when you do frequent short runs... After it was replaced & repaired (£540,- !!!) I have had no problems. This is 7k mls la...
