Staff,

Reckon that you need your valve clearance set - appartently this affects oil usage aswell? Just something I was told yesetrday by a mate.
Valves clearance should be checked every 4k mls or so - The bike will run smoother as well once it's done.

I will get mine done next month.

Here are a few things you can do: - Upgrade to an SP1 master brake cyclinder (believe Kawa ZX7R MBC will fit too) - EBC HH pads - Clean the calipers (properly) - EBC brake disks Indirectly, upgraded front forks will also help to improve your braking & proper tyres will also help I have braided l...

Hi Stratman,
The rule is 1 down at the front = 3 up on the rear

Here are the ratios (e.g. 16/42 = .381)

Ratio Front Rear
0.357 15 42
0.381 16 42 (standard)
0.372 16 43
0.364 16 44
0.356 16 45

There are some but not as many as in the north. In July there is the Skerries 100, Walderstown and the races at Kells. Skerries is just north of Dublin. Some great racing is to be seen here as well. Some parts of the circuit are only single lane country roads - it's awsome (in a non US way) to see 2...

Good stuff! Was watching the Tandragee 100 last night. F... M.! 160mph on the 600cc's between the hedgerows on damp roads!! Shocking speeds, screens had holes in them from the stones flying off the rear wheel of the bike in front. Britton was in great form. http://www.samsroadracing.co.uk/html/bikes...

He Staff, Apparently there is nothing to worry about except to keep doing regular checks. Mine never used oil but lately I needed to refill. (500mls) Not sure what is happening or why but 1ltr to 1000mls seems to be acceptable. (According to Honda) If it gets worse have it checked. At least that's m...
