It's been a while
Hello folks, Just checking in after a few months of absense and to say hello. Good to see the site is still going strong so nothing changed there! :D I'm still getting my Vtwin vibs but from a KTM Superduke. Was sad to see the Storm go after 4 years (and 2 CCT failure  ) I still miss the heavy...

I've had it since Satuday and already feel much more comfortable on it on the roads then I did on the VTR (which could well be a personal thing) When I bought it I noticed that the tyres are chewed up on the edges. At the time I reckoned that the previous owner had sneaked in a track day before hand...

Out with the Old - In with the New
Folks, Just letting you know that the VTR is gone and I traded he for a 3 month old KTM SuperDuke. Loved the Storm but the KTM is in a different universe alltogether!! Anybody who's thinking of the same swap ... I can recommend it!! I'll most probably won't be on this board much again so I'll say my...

Hi Bink, I'm I right in thinking you changed your coolant on your Firestorm recently :?: Chris. Hé Chris - not recently anymore. But I did change it about 4-5 moths ago. Anybody any idea how to unblock the siphon? Could it be as simple as pushing a copper wire down the tube? Cheers so far so the w...

Cooling System - Vacume in system?
I might be describing the fault and the cause here but I am hoping some one can explain to me what is happening. During the weekend cleaning of teh bike I noticed that my lower radiator joint hose had taken an oval shape (starting at the bottom of the right hand radiator). Which I thought could poss...

Ferry Discount Code?
Folks,
I know that the bike mags usually have ads in them which give Ferry discount codes. Do any of you have a mag (or a code ) handy there?
I am looking to cross from Dublin - Holyhead just in case it matters.
Thanks!

Replacement Fork oil
Hi folks,
Anybody here know which viscosity gives the best results when upgrading the fork oil? I believe that there is a choice between 7.5 or 10 ... ?
Don't want to do a full conversion as I am not sure how long I will keep the bike. I don't do trackdays - just normal road riding.
Thx!
