Greasers

Tattie, my personal preference would be chip-pan grease, but if you want the bearings to stay in place then I suggest you use 'extra hold' grease. Something like Brillcream or Dax might do the job! :wink: :lol:

Basically folks, STAY THE wombles AWAY from the plug leads when the bikes running..... unless you're after electric shock therapy or somethin' :)

Alright Jay - yep, a jet kit is basically just new needles and bigger jets. There's also some washers and circlips for setting up the needles but they'll be all part of the same assembly once they've been installed. Nice one Pete - that sounds about right. Still though, there've been a load of instances where it didn't happen, the only thing that was different these two times was the fact that I had a full tank - I wonder if that has any significance.

JAYSIS!!!!

In the last 2 weeks my Storm has come down with similar symptoms, I've checked the cap and the lead and granted, the carbs need balancing but still, get this..... Two weeks ago, I filled the bike at the local garage, found out I had forgotten my phone/wallet etc so tore back to the house to get them...
