Re: Wayne Bowen retiring (shop closing)

I'll call in on Friday as I fancy some new gear. If we all get a list together I'm sure we could get a discount.

Wayne Bowen retiring (shop closing)

So today I went to pick up a few bits and pieces for the VTR from Wayne Bowen (Treorchy - http://www.waynebowen.co.uk) and I was given the sad news by Wayne himself; they're closing down. I've used the store quite a bit and have found them professional and helpful. There are some amazing deals to be...

Re: Sidestand

You may be able to knock it through as it's only threaded one end (I haven't tried this so do so at your own peril haha) that I believe a nut is threaded onto. Try and find the manual on here and have a look at it from there.

A suggestion

Just a quick one (but I find very useful... Would it be possible to scroll over the thread name and have the first line or two appear. What I mean is, if people use thread names that don't give away what the thread is about it can often be quite annoying having to open up the thread to find out what...

Re: Sidestand

Just checked again. Someone has pressed the Buy it Now button. Could only have been on for an hour or so. That would have been me  I've been searching for one every morning, afternoon and evening for months and as I logged on to the bay not expecting anything there she was. Sorry lad James

I like that idea. Can all metals be heat treated to become stronger or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Re: Sidestand

I did but I wasn't returning any results (probably more to do with the search terms used). It's becoming a pain in the butt. I'm ready to put the bike through it's MOT etc but I don't want to keep using that stand as I'm afraid it will end in tears. :(

Re: Sidestand

That is a bit steap! I've been trying breakers for weeks but to no avail. I'll just have to keep hunting. I was hoping maybe the part was interchangeable with another bike or something along those lines.

Re: Sidestand

I saw that one yesterday, mine went through the floor of a van and is bent. I've tried everything I can to straighten it out but everytime I use the stand it bends again, it's become really weak.

Sidestand

Hey guys,

Are there any other side stands that will fit the storm? I'm having difficulty finding one at the moment so any info would be much appreciated!

Thanks, James

Re: Operation Storm II - Rhan dau - 20th-22nd May 2011

Hopefully I should be able to join providing I can afford insurance this year and that I'm not on excercise, have to do something with the missus, have exams or work (Jesus Christ I've just realised how much I do in a week :? ).
