Hi, Timbo, think it was my 2 mates, red vtr and a cbr600, my mates not on here yet, i didn't bother that night, family meal, i have a red vtr also, bog standard apart from double bubble screen and a pyramid plastics belly pan, Graham

Hi Mac, any luck with a storm yet, only live down the road from you in "sunny" Thornton, me and a mate both got red storms, mines a 99 on a T, standard apart from a pyramid plastics belly pan.

Only charged me 20 quid labour, the rest was on an MOT, standard air filter, new plugs, i know he ended up putting the larger jets back in that were in it when i bought the storm, so dont really know if its a combination of these or something thats just righted itself, all i know is that i'm back on...

yes air filter changed for a standard one and the problem is still there, totally stumped now, shall I just source a set of carbs or is the problem not with the carbs, is any one local to me, Blackpool, with mechanical knowledge of a storm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi pete, mechanic says the throttle slides (think thats right) are drilled, possibly had dynojet kit fitted, i cant believe that just a k&n filter would make this much difference to the running, as i say its been ok for about 100 miles,also been told the choke is working fine,

Got my storm couple of weeks ago, done a short run about 50 miles ran perfect, 2nd run after 40 miles stopped for a coffee, started it up and it ran terrible only really at low revs, blipping the throttle from tickover to about 3000 revs. Took it to my local mechanic (not main dealer) new plugs, car...

Live in Thornton-Cleveleys, my bike came from the north east, according to the full service history its stayed up there all its life and its on a t plate. That route is the exact route we did pilling first then A6 past Garstang and back home.

it must of been the River Wyre pub, the next set of lights you came to, (presume you went straight on here) we do a left over the river to Glasson about 20 mins, see you there sometime

glasson dock is only 20 miles from me, nice ride out though, the back way round the lanes, wednesday nights or sunday daytimes, were you in the wagon that we overtook just after the traffic lights near singleton?

Hi simo, yes it was me and my mate, only got mine on the monday 10/5/10, my mates had his about a week longer, both our 1st storms.

Will post pics very soon, the guy I bought it off is not a member of this site, unless any previous owners were, so it might of been unseen on here, bike was from Newcastle area, from the dealer stamps its been up there all its life, can't wait to take it out!!!!!!!

Finally bought a storm, after a very log search.....................1999/T red with full bellypan, 21,000 miles, original sales wallet,full service history and previous MOTs, even enjoyed the 310 mile round trip to collect it, happy days.
