My friend has GSXR1000, he put lowering kit on it for about $100 installed. I really would like after market part or one that is custom made for VTR1000 ...

I had to push start my 2002 Superhawk the other day after stopping in a drive trhu. I bought a new battery last year. I only have 8000 miles on it. What could be wrong with it. Something must be draining it. Its sill hot here in Okilahoma USA. So, the cold is not a factor. But when it does get cold ...

Looks like I have the same problem. Did you end up replacing the sender unit? If so how much $ and where did you find it? Its hard for me to beleive that the part could cost more than $50 US. That is what I found a used tank on Ebay for. I know this is an old thread but hopefully someone will see ...

Fuel Reserve Indicator "Tank sender unit"

:?: I need to fix my fuel indicator on my RED 2002 VTR1000SP2 996 Superhawk. I ran out of gas the other day and my wife had to bring me some fuel. Anyway, I think that I left the choke on while I was riding to cause the problem a couple of week ago. The no fuel light just flashes all the time. I am ...
