Hi Just making my hawk ready for the season, broke my arm 3 weeks ago, so got alot of time making it ready :-) i changes oil. filter, plugs. it runs fine when i start it, also runs fine when i gas it up, so np there. Front CCT and Haynes info ???
So i changed the read CCT. wass np at all. Working on the front cct now. In the guides on this forum. it says i should turn the engine 1.5 or so until the mark FT alignes. In the Haynes manual it says the same, but also says that the marks on the crankcase cover should align with the FI and FE marks ...

right now iam changing my cct´s i read all the articles about this, but wantet to be sure. i alligned the RT mark. and on camshaft spockets the RI and RE on each sides are as it should be, when changing rear cct. I can see the piston are raised to the top, Is this right, should it be safe to change ...

I bought a speedohealer for my hawk, read alot that they show way to mouch on the clock. Installation wass easy took only 2 mins, but my question is, any one know how mouch the original speedometer show to mouch 8-9-10% ? I know the right thing to do is to dyno run it, but aint one arround atm. Thx.

yep its a nightmare. Bots jets are from a jet kit, so they arnt mixed up with honda´s. I found out in my exhaust system underneth where all the pipes go together. in the buttom of it, there is a small hole. looks like its factory made. like if there are water in the pipes. so it can run out. maybe t ...

i had alot of backfire from the exhausts, so read its normaly becouse they are to lean. so tryed to unscrew the rear a out. I have no backfire anymore at all :-) but wass woundering if i could damage the engine with it.

Air screws do they have to be the same ?
the 2 air/fuel screws in the carb, do they have to stand the same way or ?
I mean front cyl. 2 1/3 out
the rear cyl. 4 1/5 out
good or bad for the engine ?
(And yes i know run it on a dyno, but no dyno arround me.)
