Put this post up ages ago, must admit guys am disappointed I haven't received any words to make me feel better. Still got the old storm but also a cbf1000 gt. not a bad bike but the storm is much more fun.

Thanks for your response , however there's no way that gear fits out of that hole.....I've removed the lower tensioner blade bolt and moved it up and out the way as much as i can which isnt much. The transfer gear (2 pressed together gears) is then free to float about a bit but will not for the life...

Mine fell off the stand and landed on LH side bending clutch lever has rattled since . Will fix at some point

Continued from previous post (using my ipad so is a bit irratic). I was cold ridden for a week after due to being soaked on the way down......lost two days holidays from work due to having to take time off. Tonnes of hassle stress and expense due to that arsehole at HMS....so my advice is avoid like...

thanks for the info you're being a great help, doesnt seem much for me to do. maybe gonna put the clip ons on to see how i find that but quite like the sitting up position but a bit blowy cause im a tall git lol. got the stand and a bag of assorted bits to.

Hello all.... just bought a stunning VTR from a bloke in glasgow is fantastic, the reg is R66*UNN. just wondered if it belonged to anyone on here cause the site sticker was on the lower fairing. will add pics soon.
